Amanda Coleman placed in Elevator Pitch Competition

Amanda Coleman of Snellville placed in the Georgia College J. Whitney Bunting College of Business' Elevator Pitch Competition, sponsored by GEICO.

Students began the competition by attending professional development workshops and practicing their pitches. The participants prepared a 60-second video where they "pitched" themselves to a potential employer. They had to summarize who they are, what they do and why they would be a perfect candidate for a job, with the goal of exchanging business cards or setting a meeting with the person in the time span of an elevator ride.
