Austin Vonkutzleben accepted into Honors Program for 2016-2017

Austin Vonkutzleben from Monroe has been accepted into the Georgia College Honors Program for the 2016-2017 academic year.

The Honors Program is designed for intellectually talented and motivated students, who benefit from small sections of core curriculum classes, lunch and dinner seminars, book discussions, and other academic and cultural events. This intellectually challenging and rewarding academic experience allows students to stretch their minds, craft unique records of experience and accomplishment, and achieve their longer-term academic and professional goals.

For the program, students must maintain a 3.30 or higher institutional GPA, complete at least 18 hours of Honors course credit, remain in good standing with the program and be a member of Eta Sigma Alpha (the Honors Student Association).

The program has many benefits including small classes taught by the college's best professors, research travel grants and special recognition at commencement.
