Emma Brodzik receives 2016 Connie Burns Scholarship Recipient

Emma Brodzik from Fayetteville has been named the 2016 Connie Burns Scholarship Recipient. This scholarship, named in honor of Connie Burns, an Effingham County native and Georgia Recycling Coalition (GRC) member, is awarded to students who are interested in a career path in recycling, composting, environmental practices and sustainability. Emma was presented the scholarship at the 2016 Georgia Recycling Coalition Conference that was held at St. Simon's Island on Sept. 20.
