Meagan Johnson performed with All College Chorus

Meagan Johnson of Conyers was one of the eight Georgia College Max Noah Singers were selected to perform in Savannah, Ga. for the 2015 Georgia Music Educators Association All College Chorus. The performance took place at Savannah Christ Church Friday, Jan. 30, 2015.

Johnson is a music education major and attended Salem High School .

Dr. Jennifer Flory, director of choral activities, accompanied the All College Chorus students for the trip while they rehearsed, performed and explored the historic city.

The Georgia College All College Chorus members are:

The repertoire for the GMEA All College Chorus included: "Veni, Sancte Spiritus" by Mozart, "Lord For Thy Tender Mercy's Sake" by Richard Farrant, "The Evening Primrose" by Benjamin Britten, "Veniki (Brooms)" arranged by F. Rubtsov, "A Boy and a Girl" by Eric Whitacre, and "Ride in the Chariot" by Brandon Waddles. Dr. Amanda Quist of Westminster Choir College served as the guest conductor.
