Alexa Wimberly- in recognition of their innovative short form videos as part of Dr. Jett's PSYC1101 Introduction to Psychology course. Rachel McQuinn, Kara Nitschke, Margot Crowell & Jewleeana Bache- In recognition of their podcast, "Social Hour", which discussed implicit biases in a conversational audio podcast format as part of Dr. Heppner's PSYC3500 Social Psychology course. Annalise Cefaratti, Elizabeth Cooper, Isabella Martinez & Ella Swartz- In recognition of their 'In The News' short-form video communicating the rise of opioid use in pets and the corresponding dangers of human abuse as part of Dr. Dandy's PSYC2060 Drugs and Behavior course.

Five management information system (MIS) students, in their first experience competing, placed sixth in the Enterprise Resource Planning Simulation (ERPsim) North American Competition, a part of the 13th ERPsim International Competition. The competition team: Tyler Maxwell, Daniel Marcus, Edward Cooper, Palmer Wilson and Jacob Wood competed against 21 other universities from North America. This included universities like Valdosta State University, University of Southern California and Universite de Sherbrooke, in Canada.

A team of five students were the first from Georgia College to advance to the second round of the Southern Classic Research Challenge, a sub-regional competition in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute Research Challenge.

The Fall 2021 winners of the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business Elevator Pitch Competition have been announced.

The student body elected a new Student Government Association executive board during the Spring 2022 semester. The Student Government Association's elects are as follows: President-elect is Kaitley Congdon, Vice-president-elect is Connor Hilly, Secretary-elect is Ellie Munson, and Treasurer-elect is Axel Hawkins.

Georgia College's Student Government Association (SGA) serves the campus community by addressing student concerns, promoting understanding within the college community and administering all matters which are delegated to the student government by the university president. Senators are elected on a yearly basis.

Student singers Riley Greer, Taylor Luiz, Malayya Fahiym, Aidan Fortenberry, Allison Crane, Addison Resh, Megan Ostrat, Tyler Harris, Anna Ogletree, Hallie Thompson, Mackensie Arrington and Brianna Burnley have been chosen to particpate in the Spring Voice Honors Recital.

Department of Music hosts Senior Recital, "This is my Story; This is my Song," featuring Erin Lamb, soprano.

The Georgia College in Washington (GC in DC) program draws from an extensive network of public and private sector contacts to provide internships in some of the most engaging professional settings in the nation. Working and living in Washington, D.C., presents numerous rewarding experiences that are second to none. During the program, seminars and forums enrich the student experience. Participation in these programs expands the internship involvement and assists students in creating meaningful relationships with other program participants.
