Achievement (Other) - 2022 May 3

Management Information Systems students place in national competition

Five management information system (MIS) students, in their first experience competing, placed sixth in the Enterprise Resource Planning Simulation (ERPsim) North American Competition, a part of the 13th ERPsim International Competition. The competition team: Tyler Maxwell, Daniel Marcus, Edward Cooper, Palmer Wilson and Jacob Wood competed against 21 other universities from North America. This included universities like Valdosta State University, University of Southern California and Universite de Sherbrooke, in Canada.

The Student Government Association's elects are as follows: President-elect is Kaitley Congdon, Vice-president-elect is Connor Hilly, Secretary-elect is Ellie Munson, and Treasurer-elect is Axel Hawkins.

The Georgia College in Washington (GC in DC) program draws from an extensive network of public and private sector contacts to provide internships in some of the most engaging professional settings in the nation. Working and living in Washington, D.C., presents numerous rewarding experiences that are second to none. During the program, seminars and forums enrich the student experience. Participation in these programs expands the internship involvement and assists students in creating meaningful relationships with other program participants.
