Management Information Systems students place in national competition

Five management information system (MIS) students, in their first experience competing, placed sixth in the Enterprise Resource Planning Simulation (ERPsim) North American Competition, a part of the 13th ERPsim International Competition. The competition team: Tyler Maxwell, Daniel Marcus, Edward Cooper, Palmer Wilson and Jacob Wood competed against 21 other universities from North America. This included universities like Valdosta State University, University of Southern California and Universite de Sherbrooke, in Canada.

Exercise Science students place 2nd in Southeast regional ACSM Academic Bowl

The School of Health and Human Performance (SHHP) prepared four Exercise Science students, Rosanna Baker, Oliver Carnazzo, Cole Moye, and Daniel Torres, to compete against 35 other schools in the Southeast American College of Sports Medicine (SEACSM) Student Academic Bowl held in Jacksonville, FL. Georgia College's "Ex Sci 2020" team was led by Dr. Kelly P. Massey and Dr. Jinkyung Park and came in second place, missing first by only one point.

Matthew Griffin, a senior management major, was one of eight finalists in the TYE University competition.

Two teams of Georgia College marketing students took home first and second-place prizes, including a total of $4,800 in prize money in Kennesaw State University's Digital Marketing Competition.
