Two students on Georgia College Mock Trial team won awards for "Outstanding Attorney" and another for "Outstanding Witness" at a three-day regional tournament hosted online in February by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA).

On Friday, October 23rd six of the Learning Center's staff presented at the Georgia Tutoring Association's (GaTA) annual conference.

WGUR and Jonathan O'Brien placed second in the category "Best Newscast" this year at the 2020 National Student Electronic Media Convention and this year it was held virtually.

The Student Ambassadors for 2020-2021 have been selected. The ambassador team positively promotes Georgia College and its public liberal arts mission by serving as a vital link between the university's student body, prospective students, their families, staff, alumni and friends. The students receiving this achievement are those that are new to the student ambassador team!

Two students from GC will be competing this month at the International Collegiate Sales Competition(ICSC). This competition is hosted by the FSU Sales Institue in Orlando, FL, but this year they will be competition virtual.

Georgia College's Office of University Communications launched a video competition challenging students to show ways they can support each other by following GC's values of Reason, Respect and Responsibility. There were over 25 student submissions and the top three were chosen!

The Fall 2020 winners of the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business Elevator Pitch Competitio, sponsored by GEICO and TTI, have been announced.

Georgia College's Student Government Association (SGA) serves the campus community by addressing student concerns, promoting understanding within the college community and administering all matters which are delegated to the student government by the university president. Senators are elected on a yearly basis.

Georgia College is proud to recognize the new and returning members of the Call Me MISTER program this Fall.
